Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the State Investment Program, approved by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev from 9 January 2020 No. PP-4563, in January-September of this year, work was performed on 11 investment projects of Uzbekneftegaz.

This year, within the framework of the State Investment Program, it is planned to put into operation 5 production facilities of Uzbekneftegaz worth US$4.13 billion, in particular:

On 28 August 2020, construction work was completed at the Mubarek gas processing plant within the framework of the project for the construction of a 4-string plant for the production of propane-butane mixture, and the facility was put into operation. At the same time, 66 new jobs were created and the possibility of producing 38.4 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year.

On 30 September 2020, the project for the development of the Denizkul, Khodjidavlat, and Vostochny Alat gas condensate fields was completed, and natural gas production up to 1 billion cubic meters and 6.4 thousand tons of gas condensate per year began, 45 new jobs were created.

In November, the construction of a propane-butane mixture production unit will be completed at the gas-sulfur treatment facilities of the Gazli oil and gas production department, production of an additional 80.0 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year will be launched and 117 new jobs will be created.

In addition, the modernization of the units for the production of propane-butane mixture (UPPBS-3/1, 2, 5) belonging to the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department will be completed, which will make it possible to produce 61.0 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year.

Within the framework of the project for the production of liquefied synthetic fuel (GTL) based on purified methane of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, construction and installation work will be fully completed in December. As a result, the plant will process 3.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 1.5 million tons of environmentally friendly synthetic liquid fuel per year. After putting the facility into operation, 1,321 specialists will be provided with jobs.

It should be noted that with the full implementation of the planned work within the framework of investment projects, first of all, production efficiency increases. In addition, new jobs are created and the employment of specialists is ensured.
