Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan Ergash Shoismatov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov on 23 February 2018.

The sides discussed current state and prospects for development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the press service of the Tajik Foreign Ministry said.

The diplomats of the two countries also considered preparations for forthcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan.
