New academic year in Uzbek schools to start on 2 September
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
New academic year in general schools of Uzbekistan will start on 2 September 2017, the ress service of the Ministry of Public Education said.
The Ministry of Education said that the first lessons will be the lesson of independence, dedicated to the 26th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, and a memory lesson dedicated to the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
Day of memory of the First President is observed in Uzbekistan on 2 September.
