Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of EXIAR General Director Nikita Gusakov to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev.

The main topic of discussion was the plans of the national operator to increase the volume of exploration and drilling works, the acquisition of material and technical resources of Russian production and other topical issues of cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties highlighted in detail the current issues of the implementation of joint projects in the oil and gas industry, in particular, export insurance coverage of loans to finance the second stage of the program to increase hydrocarbon production, as well as drilling and exploration work in 2021.

The implementation of these measures will become the basis for the intensification of oil and gas production in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
