Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13-16 May 2019, a regular meeting of working groups of government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on delimitation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border was held in Bishkek.
During the talks, proposals on the description of the remaining sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border were discussed, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on conducting joint field surveys of individual sections of the interstate border.
The talks were held in a spirit of mutual understanding and in a friendly atmosphere.
Following the meeting, the leaders of the working groups of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tulkin Abdullayev and the Kyrgyz Republic - Kanybek Botobaev signed the Protocol.
The next meeting is scheduled on the territory of Uzbekistan.
