Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Drilling work has been completed at well No. 82 of the East Berdak field of the Ustyurt gas production department. This well is located on the shore of the natural lake "Uchsoy" in Muynak district.

Perforation works were carried out in the intervals 2270-2259 m, 2255-2248 m. As a result of the well development, an industrial gas flow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 100 thousand cubic meters and 1 ton of gas condensate.

Drilling works were carried out by the forces of Uzneftgaz Burgilash Ishlari LLC. Currently, work is underway to equip the well and connect it to a gas collector.

It is worth noting that this well is one of the 20 wells provided for commissioning in 2020, implemented by Uzbekneftegaz JSC on its own.

The Vostochny Berdak gas condensate field is located in Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was commissioned in 2002.
