Narimon Umarov congratulates Islam Karimov with victory in presidential elections

At the briefing in Tashkent, Narimon Umarov said that the presidential elections were organized in high level in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan and national norms. The election process was transparent and open, he said.

Mr Umarov said that over 9,000 observers of the party observed elections and they did not record any violations. He express gratitude to the Central Election Commission for good organization of the elections.

Candidate from Adolat said that he collected 2.05% of votes in elections. He said that this result does not satisfy party, but the elections allowed to strengthen party’s place in political arena of Uzbekistan and gained experience.

He said that Adolat will continue to implement its pre-elections promises and protect interests of the voters.
