Namangan region exports fruits, vegetables for US$790m

According to UzA, representatives of Namangan region signed agreements to export of over 70 types of products within the International Fruit and Vegetable Fair, which was held in summer of 2016 in Tashkent. Agreements for US$189 million were signed with over 10 foreign partners within the fair.

The region has 463,000 dehkans and 7,560 farms. They produce fruits and vegetables at over 225,000 hectares of land. It is planned to receive 1.371 million tonnes of agriculture goods and to export 364,800 tonnes to foreign states.

In the past period of 2016, the region exported goods for US$790 million within 124 export agreements, signed with the consumers.
