Namangan and Hiroshima Agree to Expand Economic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Namangan Region, led by Hokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov, held a meeting with Hiroshima Prefecture Governor Hidehiko Yuzaki during a visit to Japan, Dunyo news agency reports.
During the talks, both sides discussed expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, education, tourism, and culture.
Special attention was given to industrial cooperation, joint manufacturing projects, agriculture, the exchange of innovative technologies, and the development of the tourism sector.
The Japanese side highlighted the attractive investment climate in Namangan Region, its developed logistics network, and industrial infrastructure, expressing readiness for further collaboration.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish permanent working groups, hold regular meetings between entrepreneurs from both regions, and strengthen institutional cooperation.
