MPs pass amendments to law “On medicaments and pharmaceutical activities”

The document is directed at improving legislative framework based on generally accepted principles and norms of international law, experience of legislative regulation, harmonizing technical requirements to medicaments, eliminating barriers for development of pharmaceutical industry, etc.

Factions of political parties and MPs Group from Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan noted that adoption of the document will improve supply of medicaments and medical products to population.

The MPs approved main provisions of the draft law and passed it in the first reading.
