MPs discuss several draft laws

MPs considered a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to the law “On accounting”, the press service of the lower house of the Uzbek parliament said.

It was noted that the draft law envisages several mechanisms directed at clarifying accounting and its main elements, subjects and objects of accounting, limiting rights and responsibility of officials.

The amendments will help to ensure transparency of accounting, strengthen internal control and improve skills of accountants and heads of the enterprises.

MPs also discussed other issues, related to jurisdiction of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
