MPs discuss draft law on protection of children from harmful information

The draft law envisages regulating relations in sphere of protection of children from information, which negative impact to their psyche, physical and spiritual development, and establishes institutional arrangements that provide a reliable barrier to the promotion of violence, immorality and cruelty.

MP G. Hudayarova said that the document create legal guarantees of protection of children from harmful information and prevent aggressive behavior of children. She said that the main goal of the draft law is to ensure spiritual and demographic security of the country, improve its image and authority in sphere of protection of children rights, as well as strengthen family institute.

It was noted that foreign experience was studied during preparation of the draft law. The committee adopted a corresponding decision, taking into account proposals of MPs.
