Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 55-year-old resident of Zarafshan passed a coronavirus test on 6 July. On the same day, he was placed in the intensive care unit. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

He was diagnosed with COVID-19, bilateral pneumonia and grade 3 respiratory failure. In addition, he suffered from concomitant diseases such as hypertension, arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris and obesity.

The disease was accompanied by complications of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, pulmonary thromboembolism.

During the treatment of the patient, doctors consulted in the hospital, the treatment process was carried out on the recommendation of specialists.

Despite the standard resuscitation procedures performed by doctors, the patient’s condition deteriorated sharply and he died of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
