Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 December 2020, during the inspection of the stability of gas supply to the Sanoatenergia boiler house at Toshissikuvvati, designed to provide hot water and heat supply to residents and social facilities of Sergeli district of Tashkent, the facts of the organization of a boiler plant in the protected area were revealed, illegally using gas.

The head of Sanoatenergia, without concluding an appropriate agreement with the gas supplying organization, organized the production of natural lime, the gas supply of which went through the flow of natural gas intended for the direct operation of the boiler house. That is, at the expense of consumers, whom the boiler house is obliged to provide with heat and hot water.

In the interior of the boiler house, two lime kilns and 12 non-standard gas burners were found, connected by a rubber hose to the gas supply system. One kiln held finished products, the other contained lime stones.

According to preliminary calculations, the volume of illegal consumption of natural gas at the facility amounted to over 571,300 cubic meters. As a result of illegal actions, the damage to gas supply organizations is estimated at more than 571.3 million soums. Upon the revealed fact of gas theft, documents are drawn up for transfer to law enforcement agencies.

The volume of 571,000 cubic meters of natural gas is capable of meeting the demand of about 950 households per month.

It should be noted that, taking into account the fact that boiler houses that provide heat and hot water supply to the population are strategic objects of important social significance, their uninterrupted supply of natural gas is ensured to organize stable work.

The fact of theft was discovered in the course of the systematic work of the Ministry of Energy to check on-site consumer requests to reduce the pressure of natural gas, interruptions in the supply of heat, hot water supply, etc.

The event was held by JSC "Khududgaztaminot", "Uzneftegazinspektsiya" in cooperation with the General Prosecutor’s Office and the State Security Service. Work in this direction continues.
