Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Due to the sharp cooling and heavy rainfall in some regions of our country, there are interruptions in the supply of electricity and problems with gas supplies, which is why many complaints are received from consumers.
The Ministry of Energy informed the consumers of the republic that the officials of the Ministry are aware of the situation and are taking all necessary measures to eliminate the problems and situations, which have arisen in connection with the cooling, as well as to ensure stable energy and gas supply to homes and workplaces.
An analysis of the situation shows that during periods of sharp increase in demand, existing power supply systems operate at full capacity and in some cases, as a result of excessive load, malfunctions arise. And this leads to power outages in some regions of the republic.
Based on the above situation, the Ministry asks consumers not to use home-made, non-standard devices for heating homes and offices. Take fire safety measures!
Over the past three years, as part of major investment projects, work is underway to modernize a morally obsolete system of electric networks. The servicing capacities of existing transformers have been increased to some extent. However, as a result of the non-rational use of electricity by some consumers, malfunctions occur on the ground (ignition of transformers).
The subordinate responsible organizations of the Ministry of Energy have now formed repair teams that immediately respond to emergencies. Such teams work around the clock to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity.
As you know, in our country the bulk of the electricity is generated by thermal power plants through the use of natural gas. After processing, usable natural gas is distributed primarily between power plants and the public. However, there are cases when some consumers illegally connect to the gas pipelines with various pumping devices and receive it, which naturally leads to a decrease in pressure in the gas pipelines. These cases are identified by regulatory authorities and fines are imposed. However, for a complete solution to the problem, public control is also needed.
In our country, additional programs are being developed to increase the production of natural gas for the needs of consumers in the country, and appropriate measures are being taken to meet the demand for natural gas.
In the field of gas supply, certain reforms are also being implemented. For example, gas burner units are replaced by modern and energy-efficient gas burners. Projects to convert a number of industrial enterprises to alternative fuels, such as coal, also contribute to gas savings. These and other measures are aimed at solving the problem of stable energy supply to the country's population in the autumn-winter period in the near future.
To solve these problems, specialists of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Energy work around the clock, responding to incoming calls on the hotline 1154 for energy supply and 1104 (71-200-08-04) for gas supply.
