Minister of Environmental Protection of Latvia to visit Uzbekistan

The Embassy said that Latvia took over the presidency of the EU Council for the first half of 2015. Cooperation of the European Union with Central Asia is one of key priorities of foreign policy during the presidency of Latvia.

In this connection, the Embassy of Latvia in Uzbekistan is planning to hold several events of economic and cultural character. One of such events is a seminar on energy efficiency “Opportunities for developing of cooperation in sphere of ecologically clean technologies”, the embassy added. The seminar will be held on 25 February 2015.

It is worth to mention that the seminar will be organized within official visit of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Kaspars Gerhards to Uzbekistan. Kaspars Gerhards will attend the seminar.
