A number of services rendered by the Department of Migration and Registration of Citizenship of the Tashkent Main Department of Interior Affairs, as well as migration and citizenship departments of the district police departments and 70 city departments of internal affairs, will be temporarily suspended.
According to the Tashkent city police, the provision of services will be suspended from 5 to 11 February due to the move of the Main Directorate for Migration and Registration of Citizenship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan to new building.
The new building of the Main Directorate for Migration and Registration of Citizenship will now be located at the address: Yakkasaray district, Shota Rustaveli street, 1st dead end, 5.
The old building will be demolished in connection with construction of the international business center of Tashkent City.
The services, which will be suspended, in the period from 5 to 11 February:
- Reception of documents and preparation of electronic applications for registration of a biometric passport of a citizen of Uzbekistan and a biometric travel document of a stateless person.
- Reception of documents and preparation of electronic applications for assignment of a personal identification number of an individual.
- Registration of an authorization sticker for traveling abroad.
- Registration of a residence permit for foreign citizens and stateless persons.
- Registration of documents on invitation of foreign citizens to Uzbekistan.
- Registration of documents for temporary registration at the place of stay of citizens of Uzbekistan in Tashkent and Tashkent region.
