MFA hosts meeting to discuss attraction of investments and tourists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 February 2019, a meeting of the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held, which was chaired by Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev attended the meeting.

In his speech, he, at the request of the Uzbek President, outlined a range of topical targets facing the newly appointed Deputy Foreign Minister Alisher Abdualiyev and the units of the economic bloc that he oversees and the Ministry and diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad to create favorable external conditions for attracting foreign direct investments, promoting the volume and range of exports of Uzbek goods and services, increasing the flow of foreign tourists, as well as the economic development of regions, assigned to diplomatic missions.
