MES Rescuers Retrieve Car from Drainage Canal in Syrdarya Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Syrdarya Region received a report that a Cobalt vehicle had fallen into a drainage canal located in the territory of the Yoldoshobod Mahalla, Mirzaabad District.

Preliminary data indicate that the incident occurred due to driver negligence.

Rescue units promptly arrived at the scene and, using specialized equipment, lifted the vehicle from the canal.

It was established that the driver was able to exit the vehicle on their own and reach a safe location before the rescuers arrived.

According to the MES, there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
