Memorial “Bratskiyi Mogili” undergoes renovation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Memorial “Bratskiyi Mogili” (Mass Graves) undergoes renovation to improve its look, Tashkent city khokimiyat said in a statement.

In particular, marble slabs were replaced at the place of obsolete and lost their original appearance. According to technology, in order for marble slabs to take their final form, there is need a certain time and load.

In this regard, at the present time, elements of military symbols, which were present on the marble plaques of the memorial, have been temporarily replaced with foam plastic parts.

The bronze parts will be returned to their places after about two weeks.
