Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held in Poland with Uzbek students studying at the Higher School of Business, as well as Uzbek citizens living in the city of Krakow, Dunyo reported.
It is worth noting that the Higher School of Business of Poland is one of the largest and fastest growing private universities in the country, which trains specialists in more than 60 areas. To date, more than 150 Uzbek students are studying at this university.
The meeting with them was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland as part of a supported dialogue with compatriots abroad. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize Uzbek citizens with the ongoing large-scale reforms in the country and establish close contacts to provide them with consular and legal assistance.
During the meeting, the attention of the participants was drawn to the policy of the leadership of Uzbekistan regarding compatriots living in foreign countries, as well as the activities of the country’s diplomatic missions to protect their rights and interests.
The participants were also acquainted with the main provisions of the Message of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Oliy Majlis, information about the modern development of Uzbekistan, the positive changes taking place in the country.
It was especially noted that 2020 was declared the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy in the Republic. In this context, it is emphasized that compatriots who can contribute to the wide dissemination of the cultural, scientific and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan, contribute to the popularization of its study in the world, the preservation and development of the Uzbek language, culture and traditions in the countries, also have an important role to play in implementing this strategy. residence.
Special attention was paid to the work of the Embassy in developing and strengthening ties with compatriots and organizations created by them, who wish to take part in the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan and help build its mutually beneficial and friendly relations with Poland.
The meeting participants expressed their gratitude for the creation of favorable legal, social and economic conditions for their professional, entrepreneurial, investment, scientific, educational and cultural activities in foreign countries, including training in European universities. They confirmed their readiness to support the large-scale socio-economic and socio-political reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, to contribute to further strengthening the country’s international image.
During the meeting, the audience received the necessary recommendations regarding compliance with the Polish national legislation, as well as maintaining contacts with the diplomatic mission. Interested parties were provided with relevant consultations on consular legal issues.
