Measures adopted to improve antimonopoly regulation in commodity markets

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on measures to further improve antimonopoly regulation in commodity markets. This is reported by the information service of the State Committee on Competition.

The document was adopted in pursuance of the Resolution of the President of Uzbekistan No. PP-3386 from 14 November 2017 "On measures to improve the competitive environment, eradicate conditions for abuse and theft in the provision of fuel and energy resources, reduce receivables and payables, and to drastically reduce list and types of monopoly products, ensuring the transition to international principles of antimonopoly regulation ".

The resolution approved the Regulations on procedure for determining monopolistically high and monopolistically low prices for goods (work, services) sold on the commodity market and a list of socially significant and strategic types of goods (services), prices (tariffs) for which are subject to state regulation.
