Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Marcel Krause was appointed as a technical director of Uzbekistan GTL.

In his new position, Marcel Krause will provide technical and consulting support, as well as coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, at the UGTL plant start-up  and  putting the Plant on stream.

By the decision of the Board of Directors of Uzbekistan GTL LLC, a highly qualified specialist, a Canadian citizen - Marcel Juergen Krause was appointed to the position of the Company’s Technical Director as from 18 January 2021.

For the past 10 years Marcel Krause had worked as a Technical Manager of OryxGTL Plant in Qatar.  Marcel Krause has a 33-year long standing experience in the oil and gas processing and petrochemical industries.

Marcel Krause participated in startup and commissioning of a number of large international production enterprises of petrochemical and oil and gas processing industry in Canada, Chile, Thailand and Qatar.

Marcel Krause is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (Canada), which is among the TOP 50 best universities in the world, and he is also a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geologists of British Columbia.
