On 22 February at 15:40, unknown person called to 1009 information service and threatened to blow up the metro in Tashkent.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the subscriber introduced himself as Doniyor Kholikov. He said that if his wife does not bring their child within 20 minutes, an explosion will take place in the metro. After these words, he hung up.

The investigation showed that the caller was Doniyor Kholikov and lives in Shaykhantahur district of Tashkent city. A man was detained, and an investigation is underway.
