Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Analysis of the state of affairs at this facility is carried out as part of the ongoing field meeting of the Special Headquarters in Ferghana region in order to directly familiarize themselves with the readiness of regional energy and gas supplying enterprises for a stable supply of consumers in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021.
Working group on 10 September inspected the state of supplies of natural and liquefied gas to consumers. “We need a timely uninterrupted supply of liquefied gas to the population, it is important to increase and improve the localization of spare parts for cylinders,” said Chief of Staff, Energy Minister A. Sultanov.
In total, in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021, consumers will be supplied with 1.71 billion cubic meters of natural gas. This is 241.5 million cubic meters or 16.4% more than last season.
The number of natural gas consumers in Ferghana is 320.4 thousand people, of which 3.5 thousand are legal entities, and 316.8 thousand are physical consumers (households).
To supply consumers with natural and liquefied gas, the region uses 7,135.2 km of gas pipelines and 8,367 gas distribution points.
In order to improve the quality of customer service from 1 October, 20 teams of special equipment and 20 teams of 80 people will operate in the region.
Also in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021, it is planned to supply consumers with 54.7 thousand tons of liquefied gas. This is 48.6 percent more than last season.
