Licensing, permitting and notification procedures to be united in one law

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A draft Law "On procedures for licensing, issuing permits and notifications", prepared by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, was published for discussion.

The main purpose of this document is to regulate relations related to the licensing of certain types of activities, the issuance of permits and notification in the field of entrepreneurial activity. This was reported by Norma.uz.

This Law does not apply to the following activities:

when using objects of intellectual property, as well as on relations arising under a complex business license agreement (franchising agreement);

state registration and registration of business entities, agreements, rights and property;

accreditation, certification, standardization, metrology and technical regulation;

state ecological expertise;

relations in the field of state secrets.

The Draft Law contains provisions aimed at regulating the following aspects of licensing procedures:

basic principles of licensing, authorization and notification procedures;

the validity and effectiveness of the implementation of licensing, permitting and notification procedures;

powers of the Cabinet of Ministers on licensing and permitting procedures;

issuance of licenses and permits;

a single electronic online portal;

licensing;

procedures for issuing permits;

general rules on procedures for licensing and issuing permits in the field of entrepreneurship;

order of notification.

The Draft Law also contains lists:

types of activities for which a license is required;

types of licensing procedures;

types of activities carried out by way of notification of authorized bodies.

The project is published in the state language, it can be changed, supplemented or rejected.
