According to the press service of the Main Department of Interior Affairs of Tashkent, four suspects - B.Kh. Israilov, F.R. Azizlarhodjaev, D.B. Kilichev and Sh.M. Iskhakov - entered into a preliminary criminal conspiracy and planned to produce fake soums.

They produced 100 fake banknotes with a face value of 50,000 soums with total volume of 5 million soums.

At the same time, they spent 3.6 million soums on their personal needs. The suspects were detained while they were trying to pay for goods in a store in Yashnabad district of Tashkent with fake banknotes.

The police officers have seized counterfeit money in the amount of 1.4 million soums as evidence.

The criminal case was opened and investigation is underway.
