“Allow me to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to me and the entire Kyrgyz delegation during my official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the message of the President of Kyrgyzstan reads.

“My visit was a logical continuation of the trustful dialogue at the highest level, established between our countries during the current year. I am very satisfied with the talks that took place in an atmosphere of complete mutual understanding and trust,” the message added.

“I sincerely welcome the agreements reached to further deepen the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, based on strong ties of centuries-old friendship, good-neighborliness and fraternal relations between our peoples,” the head of Kyrgyzstan said.

“I am confident that implementation of joint plans for the resumption of passenger routes, provision of transit traffic and creation of transport corridors, as well as establishment of export-import supplies will significantly improve the lives of ordinary citizens and create the necessary conditions for the development of trade and economic cooperation,” the President added.

“I believe that the work on delimitation of the remaining part of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border should proceed at an active pace on principles of mutual respect and mutual consideration of interests,” Sooronbai Jeenbekov underlined.

“I note with admiration that you are laying new traditions in diplomacy and demonstrating non-standard and effective approaches to solving interstate issues. You have set a positive tone for cooperation not only between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, but also in the region as a whole,” the head of Kyrgyzstan added.

“The Kyrgyz side fully supports your initiative on organizing regular meetings of the heads of states of Central Asia. We are ready to make maximum efforts for its practical implementation,” President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.

"I am very glad that friendly and fraternal relations have developed between us. Your words, which were sounded repeatedly during the visit: “Your pain we perceive as our pain, your victory we perceive as our victory” reflect your kind attitude to the Kyrgyz people, and they will remain forever in my heart,” he said.
