Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation led by the deputy khokim of Uychi district of Namangan region on investment issues F. Mamadaliyev visited Kuwait, Dunyo reports.

During the visit, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait, meetings were held with the leadership of Petroleum Dynamics Oil & Gas, Hawazin Regional Trading Co., Sanabil Al Kuwaitiya General Trad. & Cont. Co. ”,“ Rasheed Abdulrahim al-Mutawa Real Estate Group ”,“ Kuwait Investment Company ”,“ Al-Azraq Fruits CO ”, during which presentations of the economic and tourist potential of Namangan region were organized.

As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on the participation of Kuwaiti companies and investors in the implementation of investment projects in the Uychi district, including the modernization of the Uychi teks textile mill, the construction of a stone crusher plant, the creation of a joint venture for the production of fiberglass pipes, a livestock complex, a medical and a tourist center, as well as the establishment of the Kuwait-Namangan Group. The relevant bilateral documents were signed. Start is given to the joint marketing research and the preparation of a feasibility study for investment projects.

During the visit, members of the delegation also examined the Kuwait market with the aim of organizing the export of agricultural and textile products. An agreement was reached with Al-Azraq Fruits CO on the export of various dried fruits and legumes.
