Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan held negotiations with the president and executive manager of the company KOMATSU LTD Hiroyuki Ogawa on 11 March.

Today, the manufactured equipment of the KOMATSU LTD is in demand, is used in road construction, mining metallurgy, construction of important facilities and has a reputation as a reliable, high-quality and durable equipment in Uzbekistan.

President of KOMATSU LTD H. Ogawa expressed awareness of the deep and dynamic reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in recent years and praised them.

He expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the confidence in the quality of KOMATSU products, especially welcomed that in 2020 the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant purchased heavy vehicles of the KOMATSU LTD company.

During the meeting, the president of the company was familiarized with the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, created by a favorable investment climate and business conditions, as well as the work carried out in various sectors of the economy and the huge potential for cooperation with KOMATSU LTD. The head of the Japanese company was given a detailed presentation of the current socio-economic development of Uzbekistan, stable macroeconomic indicators, the country's achievements over the past 4.5 years, including strengthening the position of Uzbekistan in the ratings of international organizations.

Following the presentation, President of KOMATSU LTD H. Ogawa noted that the company is ready to consider the possibilities of expanding mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation with Uzbekistan.
