Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to organize a practical training textile technopark at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry with the involvement of gratuitous assistance from the Government of the Republic of Korea", work is underway to attract Korean specialists to the work of the Textile Technopark.
At the same time, in January 2021, the Korean Institute of Technology Development "KIAT" and the Association "Uztekstilprom" signed a Memorandum on attracting Korean specialists to the work of the Textile Technopark, assistance in solving production and technical processes, advanced training and marketing of enterprises within the framework of the TASK Program ".
The TASK program is intended to transfer the most up-to-date “knowledge and technological know-how” in the textile industry with the constant participation of Korean specialists.
According to the Memorandum, on 3 February 2021, videoconferencing (VCS) was held with the Korean Institute of Industrial Technologies (KITECH), the Uztekstilprom Association and industry enterprises.
The issues of technical assistance for the enterprises of the industry were studied, namely the training of personnel - technologists, mechanics of garment production, increasing the efficiency of the production process, designing sketches, design, process management and marketing activities at enterprises, etc.
Under the Support Program, the Korean side proposed to conduct a questionnaire and, as a result, send a technical team of specialists to Tashkent to provide technical assistance to industry enterprises in April this year.
