The agreement was signed in Astana on 7 September 2012. Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed the document on behalf of the presidents of the two countries.
The law proposes to ratify the agreement allowing to detect and return people who illegally crossed the border and stays in the country.
International airports of Astana and Almaty are the points of crossing the state border. The Ministries of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the responsible for implementation of Agreement bodies.
Ratification of the Agreement will allow to more effectively fight illegal migration in accordance with the norms of the international law.
