Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Beibut Atamkulov met with board member of Tenge Bank, Beibit Faleev, to discuss the current state and prospects for Kazakh-Uzbek trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
The parties emphasized the role of the banking sector in ensuring reliable settlements and financial support for joint projects. They also highlighted the importance of a robust banking infrastructure to increase mutual trade turnover, strengthen investment ties, and protect the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs.
Tenge Bank, a subsidiary of Halyk Bank, serves as a key instrument in supporting bilateral business. The bank actively participates in servicing foreign trade operations, developing trade finance instruments, and implementing modern digital solutions.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in further enhancing cooperation and expanding the involvement of financial institutions in joint investment projects aimed at deepening Kazakh-Uzbek trade and economic relations.
Tenge Bank is a commercial bank in Uzbekistan and a 100% subsidiary of Halyk Bank.
