Kashkadarya region’s economy increases by 4%

Industrial output of the region increased by 9.2%, agriculture production – 12.6%, construction works – 10.9%, retail trade turnover – 17.8% and paid services – 8.9%.

Some 65 industrial enterprises carried out modernization and re-equipment projects in the reporting period, which allowed to create additional 500 new jobs.

Light industry’s enterprises produced goods for 210.4 billion soums, which is up 5.1% year-on-year. About 34 small enterprises were created in the region due to attraction of additional investments.
