Kamilov meets with Chinese Foreign Minister

On 7 February 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is on an official visit to China, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi in Beijing.
During the meeting, the sides discussed key issues of bilateral relations, implementation of the agreements, reached within the framework of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China on 11-13 May 2017 and negotiations with the Chinese leadership, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The ministers paid special attention to the agenda of the upcoming international conference on Afghanistan "Peace process, cooperation in the field of security and regional cooperation", which will take place in Tashkent on the joint initiative of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
The parties also considered other issues of mutual interest.
