JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan to start production of cabs for trucks

The capacities on production of cabs will be created at the JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan in Samarkand region.

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures on further developing production of supersize trucks of MAN brand”.

The resolution said that JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan is a customer of the project. Uzogirsanoatloyiha is a genereal developed or pre-project and project documentation, while ToshIES-Qurilish of Uzbekgidroenergoqurilish is a general construction organization of the project. O‘ZAVTOSANOAT-INJINIRING will carry out technical supervision over quality of construction.

The project will be implemented in one-stage order without developing preliminary feasibility study. The equipment and tools for the project will be purchased without holding tender from producers, recommended by MAN Truck & Bus AG.

In 2009, MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG and Uzavtosanoat created MAN Auto-Uzbekistan JV on assembly of trucks and other equipment in Samarkand. The charter capital of the venture is 3 million euros. Uzavtosanoat holds 51% stake in the venture, and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge – 49%.
