JinkoSolar to Supply 300 MW of Tiger Neo 3.0 Solar Modules to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JinkoSolar has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to supply Uzbekistan with Tiger Neo 3.0 photovoltaic modules with a total installed capacity of 300 MW.

The deliveries are intended for several clients, including Arif, Power Sun, Darian Solar, and Deltron Energy, and will contribute to the ongoing expansion of solar power generation in the country.

According to JinkoSolar, Uzbekistan’s conditions allow the full technological advantages of the bifacial Tiger Neo 3.0 modules to be realized. Solar power plants in the country are predominantly installed on ground-mounted sites, including extensive desert and arid areas with sandy surfaces that naturally reflect sunlight.

With traditional monofacial solutions, a significant portion of diffuse and reflected radiation is lost. In contrast, Tiger Neo bifacial modules efficiently capture not only direct sunlight but also diffuse light reflected from the ground, converting it into additional electricity generation.

The Tiger Neo 3.0 modules are adapted to Uzbekistan’s moderately continental climate and the specific conditions of desert regions. The nominal power of a single module on the front side reaches 670 W, with a conversion efficiency of 24.8%.

The bifacial coefficient of 85±5% allows for a substantial increase in electricity generation at ground-mounted solar plants compared with traditional solutions.

JinkoSolar places particular emphasis on the reliability and longevity of its equipment. Module degradation remains low throughout the system’s lifecycle: less than 1% in the first year of operation, followed by a linear degradation of no more than 0.35% per year.

According to JinkoSolar, these parameters ensure long-term project stability and high predictability of electricity output.
