JAC Motors to Build Car Manufacturing Plant in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A plant for manufacturing automobile of JAC Motors cars will be established in Uzbekistan. The enterprise will be located in the Yangi Avlod special industrial zone in Tashkent.

The investment volume in the JAC Motors Tashkent project is estimated at US$135 million. The plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of up to 30,000 vehicles.

The first phase of construction and the launch of production are scheduled for 2026.

According to projections, exports from the new plant could reach about US$5 million. The implementation of the project is expected to become an important step in the development of Uzbekistan’s automotive industry and in attracting foreign investment.
