IUT student wins ‘A month in France’ contest
Embassy of France in Uzbekistan organized the contest in cooperation with International French language centers Lions clubs de France. The contest was held within the Francophonie Festival.
The contest was open for French-speaking students from Uzbekistan between the ages of 18 and 25. It was held in two-stages and fully conducted in French language.
In the first stage, the participants underwent written exam. Five best students progressed to the second stage, in which they took part in oral exam.
First-year student of Inha University in Tashkent Nodira Khashimova successfully passed all exams and claimed the first place in the contest. She won the main prize of the contest – one-month trip to France. In line with the contest rules, she can visit France in July 2016.
Nodira Khashimova said: “I participated in the contest for the first time and won it. I am happy for my victory. I dedicate this victory to my family. I love math. I study programming and I would like to become a good programmer”.
She added: “It is good profession for girls. Good software or apps can be created anywhere, for example, from home. The flexible schedule becomes important factor, when the family and children appears.”
