Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan hosted the next stage of negotiations with Russian partners on the further implementation of digital marking.
The participants of the event are experts from the Russian company "Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies", heads of departments and specialists of the State Tax Committee, as well as representatives of alcohol, tobacco and beer products of Uzbekistan.
The phased process of mandatory labeling of certain types of products in Uzbekistan is carried out on the basis of a public-private partnership agreement between the Russian company "Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies" (CRPT), the company "CRPT TURON" and the State Oil Company.
In the republic, since 1 January 2021, the labeling of tobacco and alcoholic products has been jointly launched, and beer products have been labeled from 1 April. Uzbekistan is the first and so far the only country in the CIS to introduce mandatory beer labeling. In the future, it is planned to expand the list of labeled goods - medicines and medical supplies, water and soft drinks, household appliances. Digital marking is regulated by government measures - decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers # 737 and # 833.
- Uzbekistan has achieved tremendous success in comparison with other countries in the region, because the labeling of tobacco, alcohol and especially beer is carried out efficiently in a short time.
Russian technologies are actively used in Uzbekistan. At the same time, some of the technologies developed directly in Uzbekistan, on the contrary, will soon be used in Russia, in particular, when launching the labeling of dairy products, - said Andrey Kirillov, General Director of the Central Development and Trade Center of the Russian Federation.
Transition to digital marking - will create an "electronic duplicate" of the country's economic life. And with the help of the National Information System "Asl belgisi" and the system "Tax Partner" to form public control over counterfeit and illegal products. So, each consumer will have access to reliable information about the product: its authenticity, shelf life, availability of certificates of conformity.
The state will have working effective instruments:
fight against the production and import of illegal (counterfeit and contraband) products and violation of pricing rules;
accounting and control of conformity of manufactured and imported products.
Together, these measures will significantly increase the volume of taxes and other obligatory payments to the State budget by reducing the shadow market.
