Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the agro-economic business forum, the Chairman of the Board of Uzeltehsanoat Association met with representatives of a Turkish company specializing in the production of drip irrigation system technologies.

During the meeting, it was noted that the irrational use of water resources leads to negative consequences in the agricultural sector, including a decrease in productivity, unprofitable production and lack of water. To improve the situation in this area, it is economically feasible to introduce effective technologies into the irrigation water supply system.

In pursuance of the above goals, on 25 October, a resolution was adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to expand incentive mechanisms for the introduction of water-saving technologies in agriculture”.

During the meeting, Turkish investors were also informed about the advantages and preferences, legal guarantees and benefits for customs and tax payments provided to manufacturers of similar technologies in our country by the state.
