Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit of the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the city of Nagoya, a meeting was held with the director of the office of the Japanese Organization for the Development of Foreign Trade (JETRO) in Chubu region, Tomoko Masuda, Dunyo news agency reported.
Chubu is a region of central Japan on the island of Honshu with a population of 21.7 million and includes 9 prefectures: Aichi, Fukui, Gifu, Ishikawa, Nagano, Niigata, Shizuoka, Toyama and Yamanashi.
With Tomoko Masuda, the sides discussed issues of enhancing trade, economic and investment cooperation with representatives of business circles of the region, in particular, the continuation of the practice of regular business seminars in the city of Nagoya.
An agreement was reached on working out the possibility of organizing a business seminar on 18 December, with the support of the city administration as part of the "Days of Tashkent" in the city of Nagoya.
