Ismatulla Irgashev meets with US Charge d’Affaires

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 December 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, met with the Charge d’affaires of the United States of America, Alan Melzer. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The sides exchanged views on current issues of Uzbek-American cooperation in the Afghan area, including the practical aspects of the implementation of joint projects in various fields.

The meeting also discussed the timing and agenda of the upcoming visit to Uzbekistan of the Special Representative of the US Secretary of State for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad.
