Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The International Conference "Business Integrity, International Practices and Standards" was organized in Tashkent by American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, the UNDP office in Uzbekistan, as well as the international audit consulting company KPMG.

The purpose of the event was to exchange experience and present current best practices for the development and implementation of effective compliance programs, conflict of interest management and organization of the compliance function in enterprises of the corporate sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz made a presentation on the topic: "Business development, anti-corruption and features of the implementation of the compliance system and ensuring its effectiveness."

It was especially noted that a transparent system has been created in Uzbekneftegaz, all conditions for business, attractive offers for international investors, all the basic principles in the field of compliance have been taken into account, including a telephone hotline, constant monitoring of the state of the anti-corruption system, verification of counterparties, verification of candidates when hiring, as well as other measures aimed at preventing violations in the oil and gas sector.

The participants of the event discussed current problems and trends in creating favorable conditions for business, attractive offers for international investors, introducing the compliance sphere in the corporate sector and gave appropriate recommendations.
