Inoyatov appointed as state adviser to President

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on 31 January 2018 on appointing Inoyatov as the state adviser to the President of Uzbekistan on political and legal issues, the press service of the head of state said.

Prior to this appointment, Rustam Inoyatov was chairman of the National Security Service of Uzbekistan.

With another decree of the head of state, Ihtiyor Abdullayev, the former general prosecutor of the country, became the head of the National Security Service.
