Information about the march "Immortal regiment" is not true

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Unreliable information was published on the Internet that on 9 May, a march “Immortal Regiment” will take place in Tashkent, which will take place from the “Mass graves” complex to the Eternal Flame on Mustakillik Square.

This information is not true, since the organizers did not receive permission to hold a mass event, the route was not coordinated with the relevant departments. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent Khokimiyat.

And non-organized walking of a large number of people on the sidewalks will create inconveniences for our other citizens and guests of the city.

On 9 May, in the complex "Mass graves" at 10.00 will be an event dedicated to the Day of memory and honor. Anyone can come and take part in the event, pay tribute to the memory and respect to the heroes who died on the fronts of the Second World War. Also on this day, you can come and lay flowers at the foot of the Monument of the Sorrowful Mother and the Eternal Flame in Mustakillik Square.

On the same day, at 21.00, a salute will be given at the Friendship of Peoples Square in honor of the holiday. In addition, an exhibition of military equipment will be held near the Ice Palace "Humo".
