Individual entrepreneurs obtain right to provide taxi services

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On measures to further reduce and simplify licensing and licensing procedures in the field of entrepreneurial activities, as well as improve the business environment."

According to the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, individuals can provide taxi services, using a car (based on property rights, other real rights or lease agreements) with a capacity of up to four passenger seats.

From 1 June, the Uzbek leader also canceled the requirements for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in taxi services, to install the cash register machine and radio communication equipment.

Currently, legal entities can provide taxi services to passengers.
