Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2020, within the framework of the localization program of Uzbekneftegaz, products worth 1.3 trillion soums were produced for 15 projects, the plan was fulfilled by 193.6 percent. Of these, for 9 projects, production for 1.2 trillion soums falls on the share of enterprises of the system.

Also, on the initiative of the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" Mehriddin Abdullayev, a completely new cooperation was established with local business entities for the production of previously imported products for the needs of enterprises. It is as a result of this work, within the framework of the program for reducing imports of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 2020, a reduction in imports in the equivalent of US$290.0 million (118.3% to the plan) was achieved, including:

by expanding cooperation ties, US$243.5 million (121.7% of the plan) and US$46 million (103.1%) for products previously purchased in the localization program from imports.

At the same time, the enterprises of the system also achieved a currency reduction of US$1.6 million due to the expansion of cooperative ties.

Also, in the system of Uzbekneftegaz, special attention is paid to the establishment of direct contacts between the manufacturer and the buyer on the principle of "industry - territory" as soon as possible, without any intermediaries.

At the same time, the Republican Unified Portal of Electronic Cooperation, procurement, localization and cooperation sections in the official website of the company, as well as on the basis of other procurement portals, organize cooperation processes.

As a result, in 2020, Uzbekneftegaz signed 2,587 contracts worth 489.7 billion soums through an electronic cooperation portal covering about 200 local producers in all regions of the republic, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the city of Tashkent.

At present, in the system of Uzbekneftegaz, the pace of work on localization, development of cooperation ties is increasing, purposeful work is being carried out.
