IMF missions pays visit to State Statistics Committee

During the meeting, the Uzbek side informed the IMF mission on main figures of economic development of the country in recent years, main factors behind development of economy and its industries.

The mission was also briefed on achieved results in sphere of modernization of the statistics system, improvement of methodology of statistics of prices and national book-keeping.

The IMF mission positively rated carried out work and achieved goals of the State Statistics Committee in recent years, which were directed at improving statistics of prices and national book-keeping.

The IMF mission also received answers and exploitations on all issues, raised by the international financial organization.
