Hyundai trucks to be produced in FEZ “Qoqand”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A project for production of Hyundai trucks will be implemented in the free economic zone “Qoqand”.
According to UzA, financial resources for US$130 million will be spent on the project.
The initiative of the new production belongs to the Korean Evergreen Motors and Posco Daewoo.
The agreement to organize the production of Hyundai cars in Uzbekistan was achieved within the framework of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to South Korea.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev created the FEZ “Qoqand” on 12 January 2018.
